Physician Angela Haas Moves to South Main

OUR COMMUNITY

We would like to send out a warm welcome to one of our newest full-time residents, physician Angela Haas, D.O. Dr. Haas is now providing full spectrum family medicine at the Buena Vista Family Practice. She will also be working in the emergency department and admitting patients to St. Vincent Hospital in Leadville. Dr. Haas received her medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she also completed a fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency training at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Haas brings a holistic perspective to patient care with emphasis on nutrition, lifestyle modification and emotional well being. Within the scope of family medicine, Dr. Haas has pursued additional training in women's health, pediatrics and sports medicine.

Doctors of osteopathic medicine take a whole person approach to wellness in which they consider both the physical and emotional needs of their patients. Osteopathic physicians use all conventional methods of diagnosis and treatment, but are also trained in osteopathic manipulative therapy which places additional emphasis on the achievement of normal body mechanics as central to maintaining good health.

She enjoys spending time traveling, mountain biking, skiing, hiking and cooking. Dr. Haas and her husband have happily relocated to Buena Vista. They look forward to getting to know the community and taking full advantage of the spectacular outdoor opportunities the Arkansas Valley has to offer.
