A New Year and a New Office for South Main

The New Year has arrived, and seeing as this is a good time for reflection, we’re happy to say that South Main has really taken shape and matured over the last year. So it seems appropriate that we will be moving into our new office at 901 South Main Street this month to mark a new year and a new beginning for our company. Our new sales and development office will be located in the first floor of South Main President and Co-Founder Jed Selby’s Live-Work building on the corner of South Main Street and Swift Circle.

Jed’s building will be a distinctive new home for South Main. Custom detailing throughout the building was crafted from steel by local metalworker Jim Butler. The windowsills and headers, balconies and gallery, the dramatic cornice and three flights of stair nosings all bear Jim’s touch (please see our Millstream Metalworks article for more on Butler’s work). 901 South_mg_1601 Main Street’s smooth-finished, white stucco exterior is now lit at night by downcast gooseneck fixtures, creating an elegant and inviting effect.

Among the most distinctive features of South Main’s new office will be the floor, which is a concrete microtopping and incorporates South Main’s colors and graphics. We look forward to more efficiently serving our customers from this central location. Our new office will open during the month of January. Stop by for a visit!
