This store created more than a place to shop; it created an artful sanctuary to get lost in activity for hours. At any time of the day you can walk  into the store and find people caught up in conversation as they create their own jewelry or admire the original pieces created by others that are for sale throughout the store.After beginning her shop in Chama, NM Louise moved to Buena Vista with three motives for her business: to show that everyone is an artist, to provide a service within this community for her friends and neighbors, and to make wonderful jewelry for women that work and don’t have time to create pieces themselves. Her passion for unusual stones drives her inventory. And this passion shows through in the incredible pieces she puts together in the back of the store. When you enter the door your senses are stimulated by the wonderful colors and textures. While some of the higher end pieces are safe within their display cases, most things are ready and waiting to be touched and created.  Louise feels very strongly that beads are user friendly and anybody and everybody can enjoy this creative outlet. Their hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5pm. Louise and her staff provide individual instruction in basic bead stringing and custom jewelry design. Stop by when you are in town.
