If you are able to stop by the South Main office you will see a variety of new paintings and multi-media pieces on the conference room walls. These pieces highlight the local landscape through renditions of the Arkansas River, log cabins from our local ghost town, St. Elmo, and much more. These pieces are being displayed on behalf of the many talented artists that make up the Courtyard Gallery.

Across Main Street from our office and tucked into the Vista Square courtyard100_2039 locals and visitors can experience the work of the 10 female artists that own the gallery as well as the 18 associates that hang their pieces on the walls of this two story showcase. Many of the artists work at the gallery as well, providing wonderful conversation and insight into the many unique pieces created by their fellow artisans.

Celebrating their five-year anniversary this May, The Courtyard Gallery is a great local resource for art supplies as well as a variety of classes. These classes provide instruction in everything from jewelry making to quilting and watercolor. Some of their upcoming classes include beginning beading, and a 2 part drawing workshop. An updated list of their monthly classes can be found on their website, www.thecourtyardgallery.com.100_2032

Be sure and stop by the next time you are walking down Main Street. The variety of styles and inspirations that drive these artists ensure that The Courtyard Gallery has something for everyone.
