I recently had the good fortune to borrow a macro lens. Here are some shots I took of two plants growing in our home. One is our dramatic Christmas Cactus, Schlumbergera bridgesii, a forest cactus native to Brazil which also does well on our coffee table. I also took a couple shots of our Catnip plant, Nepeta cataria; we make catnip tea as a mild sleep aid. It grows well indoors in the winter, and also does very well outside in our climate.
